11/14/11 FABTECH, FAB PHOTO Provides Green Screen Onsite Instant Prints for Miller Welding Fans

Monday through Wednesday, November 14, 15, 16, 2011, FAB PHOTO was discovered and hired by 2 Rivers Marketing to provide green screen onsite instant prints for Miller Welding's booth at FABTECH, North America's largest technology trade show, hosted at Chicago's McCormick Place. The show welcomed an historic 35,457 attendees from 80 countries, 1,300 exhibitors, and 522,000 net square feet in both the North and South Halls. Definitely FAB PHOTO's largest show to date, FABTECH was indeed massive and hugely attended.

Miller recognized the marketing value of photography as entertainment and logo branded take home souvenirs. Their agency 2 Rivers Marketing created 5 different, super fabulous green screen backgrounds to choose from. Miller fans got to gear up in custom welding jackets, gloves, masks and even a blowtorch to create their green screen Miller logo branded 4x6 souvenir. (The Chicago skyline was the most popular, Heroes Bleed Blue the least requested, with a popular amount of Jeff Gordon's Garage or The Power of Blue, but FAB PHOTO's favorite was by far THE BLUE CRUSADER because you get to fight Dr. Evil! What could be more fabulous than fighting evil?)

Moments after direction from our photographer, our green screen tech kept pace with the hundreds of Miller fans to creatively position each green screen photo into a cool layout for an awesome take home souvenir. All instant prints were placed into a custom logo branded folio, which FAB PHOTO produced, to help ensure permanent display—which is every marketers goal: message longevity, in this case, in the form of a 4x6 green screen souvenir.
